Hacks To Avoid Credit Card Charge Backs

This article deals with some of the ways in which one can deal with or avoid credit card charge backs.

Make sure that the protocols of the credit card processor are observed-
This has to be seriously observed. One has to understand that almost all card processors have a protocol for it to accept a card. It may vary from one machine to another. This, hence, is really important. For payments or purchases where the card is present at the spot, and where the card is swiped, be mindful of the expiration date. Also put the pin carefully. For purchases where the card is not swiped in person, one may have to receive permission from the card for the transaction to happen in the first place, such as through internet or the phone. For approval, one may has to put other additional information such as the IP address of the customer and digital signatures.

Make use of an apparent payment descriptor-
This is really important. Unclear payment descriptors can cause trouble leading to disputes in many firms. This is precisely why using a clear payment descriptor is really necessary. What exactly is a payment descriptor? A payment descriptor usually comprises of some identifying details such as the merchant name and details that show up on the credit card statement. In case you provide a different name, the consumer may fail to recall the purchase. And this is where the dispute starts.

For Chargeback management consider Noire Pay.
